A BUSINESSMAN has been sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment for firing his licensed firearm at a motorist following a road-rage incident in May last year.
He is Leroy Fearon, 47, who is also a racehorse trainer.
Supreme Court judge Lloyd Hibbert said he had no choice but to impose the minimum mandatory 15-year-prison term on Fearon.
He was sentenced on Thursday in the Gun Court to 15 years' imprisonment for shooting with intent and three years behind bars for illegal possession of firearm. The sentences are to run concurrently, so he will serve 15 years.
