Popular comedian and teacher, Andrea 'Delcita' Wright , has parted ways with Stages Productions, with whom she had developed a working relationship since 2008. According to Delcita, life is about making changes and adjustments.

"I think it's a case where we reached a crossroads and it's just time to move on. We had our good times but like any relationship there will be bad times and now is the correct time to move on and that is what I have done," said Delcita.

The actress with the signature rotten teeth is now working with the Big Stage Entertainment company.

personality differences

While remaining tight-lipped about the specific disagreement with Stages Productions, Delcita expressed that personality differences can facilitate problems in groups.

"When you are in a group you will have dynamics because everybody has their differences. But if you can put those differences aside things will be okay, but when it goes to the extreme it's hard to reconcile," she said.

Delcita now collaborates with Paul Beal, her new playwright, who has penned works such as Court House Drama. However, the actress expressed gratitude for the role Stages Productions played in her development.

"We planted good grace at Stages with Mr Allen. Stages was a part of the relaunch of Delcita in 2008 and I can't say I have any regrets going through Stages. I respect their hard work and I wish them the best, it's unfortunate that Stages Productions hasn't been honoured for the amount of work that they have put in. People like Shebada should be getting awards," she said.

The CEO of Stages Productions Bunny Allen also said there was no bad blood between the company and Delcita.

"There is no situation, she just decided to go her own way, and there is no bad blood. I am not one to speak on her behalf, I can only speak for Stages. We are currently doing Scandal, which features Christopher 'Johnny' Daley, 'String Bean', Melinda Reid and 'Bad Boy' Trevor. 'Shebada' is currently on tour with his group," Allen said.
