We all know her as the Dancehall Soul Diva, but Cherine Anderson is much more than a songstress. She's a fashionista whose style is always evolving. According to Cherine, "My personal style reflects who I am, it also makes a statement about what I am feeling on any given day. Some days I am ok with leather or maybe a sequinned gown, then other days I just want to wear a pair of cut-off shorts and a tank top, she stated. She tells Style Moment that her look for the most part is bold, flirtatious, fun, sometimes rebellious, but warm.

According to Cherine, "When it comes to fashion, my one rule is, as long as what you are 'doing in the name of style' doesn't harm or kill you, try it at least once.

5 style essentials

1 Sunglasses - even in T-shirt and the right-shaped frames can make you look like a million dollars. They don't have to be designer glasses either. It's more important for them to compliment your face.

2 Red lipstick - speaks for itself. Sexy red lips almost always get me what I want.

3 Hair moisturiser - helps protect my colour-treated hair, plus it keeps it soft so I can run my fingers through it with ease.

4 Perfume - I have two main fragrances that I wear often, one by Balenciaga and the other by Gucci. One complements the 'rebel' in me and the other just makes him 'haffi come back'.

5 Cut-off jeans shorts - well that speaks for itself. I'm an island girl who loves comfort and they complement my long legs.
