ISLAMABAD (AP):
Pakistan has postponed its scheduled tour of Zimbabwe in December in the hope of touring India for a one-day international and Twenty20 series.
A Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) official told The Associated Press yesterday that the tour of Zimbabwe will now be held "some time" next year. The PCB official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorised to speak on the subject.
Pakistan is likely to resume bilateral cricketing ties with India in late December. Cricket ties between the two countries were severed after a terror attack in Mumbai in 2008 for which India blames Pakistan.
The teams have played each other in ICC tournaments, including the World Cup semi-final at Mohali in 2011 and last month in the World Twenty20 in Colombo.
