Where is the Gov't?

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Your editorial (on Sunday, October 21) was on point regarding the state of Jamaica's economy, where it is headed and, most important, the ineptitude of this Government in handling the crisis heading our way.

For Jamaica's debt to be at least 140 per cent of GDP and to be likened to Greece, tells me that we are in deep crisis. But where is the appropriate response from Government? Who is leading this country? Is it that our ministers are all "working, working working" and have no time to address these issues? Where are all the voices that were heard during the election campaign? Editor, the Government has gone AWOL because it is simply out of its depth and can't handle the job.
