With Hurricane Sandy sparing Caymanas Park for the most part, tomorrow's 10-race programme featuring the Royal Dad Trophy should be well supported.

Both the Pick-9 and Super-6s were caught last Saturday and all start anew tomorrow, the Pick-9 offering the guaranteed minimum of $1 million, and each Pick-6 $750,000.

The first Pick-9 will embrace races two to 10, the first Super-6 from one to six and the overlapping Super-6 from race five to 10.

We look at the first Super-6 for a change. It gets under way with a $450,000 to $400,000 claiming race over 1820 metres to be contested by six starters.

Bearing in mind the distance, the race should resolve itself into a straight fight between old rivals, GHOST RAPPER, to be ridden by favourite jockey Omar Walker, and AWESOME MARQUE, with 4.0kg claiming apprentice Ruja Lahoe in the saddle.

GHOST RAPPER GETS NOD

GHOST RAPPER, who was claimed out of his last race by trainer Gary Subratie, has won six races from 15 starts this season, and based on his close second to THE VALIDICTORIAN over the distance on October 3, gets the nod over AWESOME MARQUE.

GWENNIETHEBUTCHER won very easily over 1300 metres with Walker aboard on September 26 and should team up successfully once again and win the second race over 1200 metres.

The nine-horse field also includes the very fit BURNING CLEARANCE and MERIT'S JET, but with trainer Patrick Chang sticking with Waker on GWENNIETHEBUTCHER, the hint should be taken.

Briefly, the third race for the Lester Saunders Memorial Trophy over 1400 metres, confined to maiden three-year-olds, should be won by the well-forward debutant DEVIL'S CHILD, a chestnut colt by Traditional out of Devil Woman from the stables of Anthony 'Baba' Nunes.

The nine-horse field also includes the more experienced BORDER LINE (working well) from the Richard Azan stables and THE BEST FLYER, who showed traces of ability on his recent debut. But DEVIL'S CHILD (Shane Ellis up) is given the edge.

Then, take the down-in-class BORA BORA to resume winning ways at the expense of old rival CASHMERE GOLD and hat-trick seeker BROTHER TO BROTHER in the fourth over 1500 metres; smart 3-y-o POTCHEEN to resume winning ways at the expense of DOUBLE THE HONEY (fit) in the fifth over 1100 metres for overnight allowance horses, and SOCIAL BUTTERFLY in the sixth.
