THE EDITOR, Sir:

I have been thinking. If Hurricane Sandy did so much damage and it was a category one hurricane, what would have happened if it had been, say, a category three or higher?

This hurricane caused so much trouble. The damage is evident all over, including areas surrounding Molynes Road in St Andrew. Would Jamaica have been wiped off the map completely by a category four storm?

Let us, despite our troubles, be thankful that the hurricane was not more powerful.
