Copping out of responsibility

Published: Friday | November 16, 2012 Comments 0

THE EDITOR, Sir:

The motto of the Jamaica Constabulary Force is 'To Serve, Protect and Reassure', but the Annotto Bay police cannot live up to their mandate.

For the past seven months, the police in Annotto Bay have not had a service vehicle, and they are responsible for 44 districts. The criminals are having a field day. Robberies, break-ins, praedial larceny are up.

So I am calling on the minister of national security, the commissioner of police, and the member of parliament to do something about the vehicle woes in Annotto Bay.
