My Dears, the Age of Sagittarius is upon us, and how! Saggis everywhere are celebrating with us on The Gleaner's Social pages. They include: Jamaican-born Canadian multi-millionaire and philanthropist Ray Chang; the iconic legal luminary Churchill Neita; the internationally celebrated Marcia Griffiths; former Senator Delano Franklyn; Alfred 'Frano' Francis, of Negril Reggae Marathon fame; the fabulous Sharon Marley; the dapper Everton Hibbert; the lovely Kalindra Lyn-Pinnock; Randain Matthews; Robert DeLisser, now in Florida; the affable Douglas Smith, now in Texas; the lovely Deloris Chambers-Millwood, now resident of Greensboro, North Carolina; the fabulous Heather Cummings, now in Boston, Massachusetts; the simply stunning Dominica-born international model, Shivaughn Johnson, Linval Earl Brown, now in Toronto, Canada; Troy-Ann Bates, now in the UK; Al Jazeera reporter, and international mountain-climbing sensation Darren Jordon; who all celebrate today!

Come tomorrow, the 24th, the fabulous Jean Seaga-Anderson over in Mandeville; the celebrated Roy-Tenny Miller; the charming Claudeth Henry; the affable Arthur McKenley; the charmingly elegant Taquise Gordon-Smith; the lovely Angela Rose-Lee; Kerry-Gale Collinder; the fabulous Kavelle Christie; the fab Charmaine Davis, now in Miami, Florida; Carl Neita, now calling Baltimore, Maryland his home; and the elegant Beverley Heron-Ruddock, formerly of Treadways, St Catherine, now resident of Mount Vernon, New York; will all share the same birthday.

Celebrating on the 25th

On Sunday, the 25th: Minister MP Dr Morais Guy; Dr Jonathan Greenland; Olympian Aleen Bailey; Richy Pennant, from Thompson Town, Clarendon, now resident of Chesapeake, Virginia; the fab Deon Brown, now in New York; and the lovely Helen Levy Chin-Loy, now resident of Toronto, Canada, will make it a special day of celebrations.

And come Monday, the 26th, Government MP Mikael Phillips; the charming Ann Becke; the dapper Patrick Smith; Andre Cummings; Rhys D. Campbell, now in Port of Spain, Trinidad; and the fabulous Shanice Duffus, in the UK; will be among the Saggis partying.

The birthday celebrations continue on Tuesday, the 27th, with Opposition MP Derrick Smith; celebrated fashion designer Elaine Dreyer; the lovely Eleanor Crichton Hussey; Ricardo Vassell; the fab Cheryl Neufville-Crooks; the lovely Stephanie Shimyou; Throy Thompson, over there in Montego Bay; former foreign affairs ministry official Peter Smith, now resident of Miramar, Florida; former Pulse Model, banker and hotelier Bill Brooks, now resident of Bronx, New York; and North Coast habitué, Edward Ryan of Philadelphia.

Wednesday, the 28th, it will be all about: former model and Hedonism III partymaker Fabian Allen, now fitness model and instructor living in Port St Lucie, Florida; North Coast habitué Jeremy Milton of Charlotte, North Carolina; North Coast habitué and card-carrying member of the fabulous set, the stunning Denise Azeez; and the charmingly fabulous Mandira Kalra Kalaan, now living in New Delhi, India; will be among those blowing birthday candles.

And come next Thursday, the 29th, Dr Cherise Francis-Windle, formerly of Linstead, St Catherine, now resident of New York and Capistrano Beach, California; the fabulous Eva Myers, of Evita's Ocho Rios fame; the dapper Kent Gammon; Wesley Scott of JNBS; the stunning Sandra Johnson-Hansborough, now resident of Homestead, Florida; Chef Darren Lee, formerly of Strawberry Hill, now in Miami, Florida; and the affable Dean Rodney, now living in London, England; will be the birthday celebrants.

Belated wishes

Special belated birthday wishes to: North Coast habitué, the fabulous Francesca de Maya, from Rome, Italy, who celebrated on the 14th. The fabulous Trisha Williams-Singh, of Digicel, who celebrated her very special day last Saturday, the 17th. And the dapper Alex Crowther, husband of the Spanish Ambassador, who celebrated his special day on Tuesday, the 20th.

Many happy returns all around, with champagne toasts and beluga treats!

Then, my dears, the Latin American Women's Club will be hosting its annual Latin Dance Party, with dinner and drinks included at the home of the upper St Andrew residence of the Colombian ambassador on December 12th, and it promises to be a Yuletide funfest, and then some.

And with tickets to this charitable outing being a mere $5,000, you know we are talking not only partying for a fabulous cause, but a chance to share some Christmas cheers here, so a definite must-attend for the noble.

And my daahlings, the annual Oates family reunion got under way yesterday, over in Ocho Rios, with the Oates Family and specially invited friends all staying at RIU Ocho Rios, with the big dinner slated for later this evening at the resort and scheduled visits to: Outameni, Mystic Mountain; Dunns River, Devon House, and the Hope Zoo; and a visit to Portland for that Parish's famous Jerk; plus a number of other stops in between.

More anon as this promises to be yet another fab outing!

And speaking of fabulous outings, the annual Portia Simpson-Miller Foundation Charity Gala Reception, hosted last Friday, over there at the Norbrook residence of Junior Dabdoub, was one of the season's finest outings, and then some. More definitely anon.
