Tomorrow's Supreme Ventures' 11-race programme at Caymanas Park offers a Pick-9 carryover of just over $1 million.

However, the highest carryover has to do with the Hit-6, which boasts a $1.2 million carryover into race nine over 1600 metres for three-year-old maidens.

Despite an 11-1 upset by THERE GOES JUSTIN in the United Racehorse Trainers Association Trophy race, both Super-6s were caught and start anew tomorrow.

The Pick-9 will embrace races three to 11, the first Super 6 from race one to six, the overlapping Super-6 from race six to 11. Post time for the Pick-3 raceday, featuring the $3.6 million Pick-3 Super Challenge Trophy race over 1400 metres, is 11:45 a.m.

We look at the second Super-6 which gets under way with a $180,000 conditional claming race over 1600 metres (division two) to be contested by 12 starters.

With little form present, the likelihood of an upset looms large, but in LONG PROCESS, LATENT POWER, THE SMOKER and the maiden three-year-old filly ENERGETIC EMILY is the quartet from which I expect the winner to emerge.

FAVOURITE

LATENT POWER, who last won over 1500 metres in April, finished third to the out-of-class CRAZY RACER at 1400 metres on October 15, and the seven-year-old gelding could well start favourite to resume winning ways.

However, preference is for the younger horse, ENERGETIC EMILY, who finished a fair sixth to GENERAL CURLIN over 1400 metres in an open $180,000 claiming race on November 10. She carries a mere 50.0kg and having been kept on the move at exercise, should stave off LATENT POWER and LONG PROCESS, who finished a close fifth to SIR DANE over 1100 metres on October 27.

WAR HERO, who was caught close home by the fast-finishing SACHIN over 1400 metres on November 14, has been eased in the weights by virtue of apprentice Ruja Lahoe's 4.0kg claming allowance, and should not be beaten with 52.0kg over 1300 metres in the seventh race.

Race number eight, the Pick 3 Supreme Trophy over 1200 metres for overnight allowance horses, should see THE GUV, POTCHEEN (no whip), TRADITIONAL PRINCE and PRINCE THEO in contention where it matters.

This promises to be a keenly contested race, but on the strength of his fast-finishing second to his illustrious stable-companion SAINT CECELIA in the recent Caribbean Sprint over the distance, Spencer Chung's THE GUV, now eased in the weights to carry 52.0kg, is preferred.

CONFLICTOFINTEREST, who has been knocking at the door in maiden three-year-old race, now has the services of four-time champion jockey Omar Walker and coming from a favourable draw on the outside, should win the ninth race over 1600 metres at the expense of LEGAL EXPLOSION and AWESOME FLYER.

MOVING IMPRESSIVELY

HOVER CRAFT, now admini-stered Lasix and moving impressively at exercise, should turn the tables on recent conqueror, the unbeaten UNCLE TAF (no whip) and another unbeaten rival, stable-companion ROYAL VIBES in the 10th race, the Pick-3 Super-Challenge Trophy, race number two in the Supreme ventures 2-y-o Series.

Outgoing champion jockey Dick Cardenas, fresh from a two-day suspension, has the leg over HOVER CRAFT, who will relish the additional 200 metres of this race. And the closing straight-five race (restricted stakes) should resolve itself into a straight fight between the American horses KIPLING WEEKEND and RICHIESONJAMARLEY, both winners last time out. The Philip Feanny-trained KIPLING WEEK-END, with Hall of Fame jockey Winston Griffiths aboard, is preferred.
