Come burn off extra weight from Christmas season

On January 6, 2013, Training Camp will stage its second annual 5K Road Race/Walk, starting and ending at Manor Park Plaza, Constant Spring, at 7:15 a.m. You are invited to start the new year right by coming out and burning off the extra weight you might have gained as a result of the Christmas and New Year feasts.

To get you ready, Training Camp, in association with Q-Fit, began pre-race preparation on December 1.

Every Saturday at 6.30 a. m. and until the race day, persons can meet at Coconut Grove at Hope Gardens (entrance near the Zoo).

Naturally rewarding

Centralised in Hope Gardens, the workout programme is naturally rewarding.

Surrounded by rich vegetation and lush greenery, the atmosphere that the gardens projects is conducive to a healthy lifestyle. Qualified trainers from Q-Fit will take participants through the routine, leaving them feeling free and invigorated. Trainers are also able to give advice and information on nutrition and wellness.

A pre-racerun/walk is scheduled for December 29 at 6.30 a.m. at the Training Camp, Manor Park Plaza. Persons can also test the route and pick up their special gear for the event.
