Osmosis Week returns with big discounts

MC Entertainment, organisers of the celebrated Osmosis party series, is once again set to execute Osmosis Week from December 14-21 in partnership with the event's suppliers and associates.

The sophomore staging of the breakthrough initiative, which was implemented to stimulate the economy and show appreciation to patrons, will see presold ticket-holders enjoying generous discounts and additional benefits at designated lifestyle stores during the week of the event.

There are a number of participating food, clothing, fitness, and spa locations islandwide, and according to Deane Shepherd, an MC representative, the company has been overwhelmed by the increase in participants.

While Shepherd is appreciative of the growth thus far, he expects more, pointing out that the benefits to the public and retailers are "simply priceless".

"We launched Osmosis Week over the summer in an effort to drive sales to our suppliers and partners, and we are seeing an increase in requests to participate, which will surely result in an exciting week of bargains for our presold ticket-holders," he said.

Rewards for ticket-holders

The offer was open to the general public for the first staging, but this time around, as explained by co-director Philip 'PP' Palmer, the organising team has taken the decision to focus these great rewards on the ticket-holders who have been crucial to the event's success over the years.

"Osmosis is always about rewarding our patrons and supporters, so what better way to say thank you for purchasing your ticket than to provide you with a wide array of stores where you can obtain discounts? Osmosis Week is all about preparing for Osmosis, so you can go out and shop for your Osmosis outfit, have dinner with your friends, and enjoy a day at the spa," said Palmer.

The theme of this Christmas's staging is 'Osmosis Style', and according to director of execution, Jermaine Brown, it will be a show to be remembered for a long time to come.

"Without giving the entrance away, we would just hint that persons should prepare to be photographed and interviewed, similar to the way red carpet awards shows are done in Las Vegas," Brown explained.

Osmosis Style is scheduled for Friday, December 21, at the Caymanas Polo Club.
