Seniors celebrate the season

Gbimisola Kamson, wife of Nigerian High Commissioner Otunba Olatokunboh Kamson, was a special guest at the luncheon.

The annual Christmas luncheon of the Woman's Club of St Andrew was held at Alhambra Inn Hotel last Thursday. Blossom Hakasson, president of the club, introduced trustees, past presidents, officers and other special guests at the luncheon, while musician extraordinaire Keith Lyn entertained with a suite of Christmas carols.

Mrs Hakasson gave the guests an overview of the activities of the club over the year, as well as a brief history of its existence. Among the special guests were Pam Hopkins, owner of Smart Woman; Lorna Golding, wife of former Prime Minister Bruce Golding, Lady Hall, wife of former Governor General, Sir Kenneth Hall, Wyvolyn Gager, former Editor-in-Chief of The Gleaner and Gbimisola Kamson, wife of Nigerian High Commissioner, Otunba Olatokunboh Kamson.
