Holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas are especially significant at The Tryall Club in Hanover. And while the season maybe over for some, there is still time for you to indulge in putting a spin on an old favourite. Today, the Tryall Club shares...


Ingredients

Batter

1lb regular cream cheese at room temperature

1tbsp sorrel juice

1/2 cup sugar

1tsp vanilla

1/2 tbsp sour cream

3 eggs beaten

1tsp corn starch

Whisk all ingredients together to make a batter

Crust

2 cup grahams crumbs

1tbsp melted butter

METHOD

Combine ingredients and press evenly into an eight-inch pie dish about 1cm then add batter.

Put dish in a bain-marie and bake in a pre-heated oven at 325f for 11/2 hour. Cool at room temperature before refrigeration.
