Tivoli Gardens Football Club's head coach, Glendon 'Admiral' Bailey, plans to ring in the changes come January as his team seeks to improve their status in the Red Stripe Premier League football competition.

Speaking shortly after his team's 1-0 loss to Portmore United last Sunday at Ferdie Neita Park, Bailey said the changes have become necessary due to a lack of commitment on the part of his players.

"We have the talent, but some players are not showing commitment to the cause," said Bailey.

"If you look at how we gave up the goal (Sunday), one of our defenders barely pushed his foot at the shot casually.

"This is the sort of commitment I am talking about. Some players don't seem willing to shed blood, sweat and tears for the cause.

"It is something that we are very concerned about and heading into the new year, we plan to sieve out the players who are committed and those who are not," he added.

The goal, which condemned Tivoli to mid-table, was netted by forward Alanzo Adlam in the 66th minute.

Adlam, left unmarked at the top of the area, found himself with room to shoot and with the goalkeeper at his mercy, fired home, much to the delight of the home crowd.

The win kept Portmore second in the standings behind leaders Harbour View.
