West Indies women suffered another batting meltdown against spin, losing by four wickets to South Africa women in the second one-day international at Warner Park yesterday.

Scores: WEST INDIES 128 off 48.2 overs (Stafanie Taylor 29; Sunette Loubser 4-11, Chloe Tryon 2-18, Dané van Niekerk 2-20). SOUTH AFRICA 129 for six off 47.5 overs (Dané van Niekerk 33 not out, Mignon du Preez 27; Shanel Daley 1-19).

The West Indian women struggled against a bowling attack led by a high-school teacher from Cape Town, Sunette Loubser, before crumbling for 128 off 48.2 overs, as the visitors romped home with four wickets intact and 13 balls to spare.

Sent in to bat, the home side's bravest stand was 33 runs for the first wicket between Juliana Nero (16) and Stafanie Taylor (29). Deandra Dottin contributed 16 and captain Merissa Aguilliera 17.

South Africa lead 2-0 in the five-match series.
