THE EDITOR, Sir:

I would like to thank both major local television stations for causing a massive fall in my electricity bill.

About 10 years ago, I watched at least five hours of television every day. That massive bill was caused by the presentation of first-run dramas each station offered.

Today, I am happy to say, my weekly contact with television is down from 35 hours to less than eight hours a week.

Thank you for presenting programmes I do not watch.
