Sorry, Digicel

THE EDITOR, Sir:

This is an open letter to Digicel.

I can't think why I got so bothered about going from 6 to 7 when needing to delete a message on my phone. I think what happened was the day the new system took over, it did tell me 'Message Skipped' when I pressed 7, and the message was there waiting for me again the next time I checked, but that problem got ironed out right away.

So I am writing to tell you that because of my rather stupid letter ('Not happy with Digicel upgrade', Gleaner, January 19, 2013) your very nice Mr Gavin Williams from Customer Care phoned me and very patiently pointed out that really nothing much had changed and I agreed and apologised to him for wasting his time.

I felt particularly apologetic as Digicel has always been not only my, but, in my opinion, Jamaica's favourite foreign company.
