Since her emergence on the entertainment scene in 2009 with her hit single Can't Breathe, local songstress and resident supergirl Denyque Dontre has been creating quite a stir. It's not only about music, though. On the fashion circuit, her changing and eclectic fashion sense is being talked about and perhaps envied.

No stranger to the limelight, Denyque was a consistent contestant in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission festivals, starting at 11 years old. But now the singer-songwriter can add resident fashionista to her growing résumé. Style Moment recently caught up with her on an early-morning photoshoot, where she dished about her sense of style.

"My style is really hard to describe, but if I should try, I would say that it is sexy, definitely sexy, and very eclectic." she said. One day I might be in this mood and then the next day I am in another, so my dressing really changes often and reflects my mood," she added.

5 style must-haves

  1. Milani Black eyeliner: This is a must for every girl who likes a great eyeliner because it is just the smoothest eyeliner that I have ever used.
  2. Kate Moss Red Rimmel Lipstick: It is a great lipstick. The texture is good and it is basically everlasting.
  3. Affirm Edge Tamer: It's an easily available quick fix, especially for a girl like me who is always on the go.
  4. Gold watches: I'm not a silver girl but anything in gold, especially from Marc Jacobs or Michael Kors. A great watch will always get the attention that you need. You know they say you can tell the type of guy by looking at his shoes, that's what I think watches do.
  5. Shea moisture hair products: I have the most stubborn hair and this product is really the only thing out there that I know can control it.
