Happy to be a Digicel customer

THE EDITOR, Sir:

With education and community development being so important to Jamaica, I was glad to hear that Digicel Foundation has started the new year on a hopeful note.

I read about the 'Nominate 2 Educate' campaign, where 50 schools across Jamaica will get computers and other facilities to improve the learning of the children.

I've also heard about their community-empowerment programme where they are spending more than $10 million to help build up depressed communities. These are things that make me happy to be a Digicel customer, because I know they are giving back a lot to my country, Jamaica.
