Little-White legacy lives on

THE EDITOR, Sir:

The passing of Heather Little-White has come as a shock to many of us who knew her well and who stood on the sidelines and watched her ongoing battle with life in a wheelchair.

Her life radiated courage, competence and the confidence of someone who, in spite of circumstances which had dealt her a bad hand, was not one to complain but carried on doing what she did best: living a life of faith.

As a graduate of the College of Arts, Science and Technology, now the University of Technology (UTech), she exemplified the qualities of self-reliance and competence, which are a hallmark of that institution.

Her passing will leave a gap at the UTech/Jamaica Institute of Management, which may take more than one person to fill.

Her faith and courage live on.
