Is he an enemy of the State?

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Should Opposition Leader Andrew Holness be more responsible in his speech, or should Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller?

The "enemy of the State" comment which has tongues wagging is exactly the right description to me. Why have I said this? Why couldn't the opposition leader's speech seek to woo investors, explain the difficult times, and assure them to invest in Jamaica for the interest of the country and people?

Why couldn't he help to attract investors? Why couldn't he talk like a leader? Instead, he is just negative and does not understand the role of Opposition. Some don't see it this way. They would rather see and hear him tear down the Government.

The PM is right for me. Mr Holness' pronouncement is reckless and irresponsible. He should have known better. He doesn't behave and show that he wants to be a prime minister. Mr Holness, pull up your socks; you are still young.
