Search original Hebrew Scriptures

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Supporters and detractors of the Bible should all learn that as useful as the Bible is or can be, for those in search of truth (physical or spirtual), there is nothing holy or infallible about the 'Holy Bible' - in any or all of its various 'translations' or 'versions'.

The Creator continues to be revealed, in many irrefutable ways, throughout His creation - with or without the Bible, which is deservedly seen as the world's most widely read book. The Bible contains some of 'the words' (of 'God'), but is NOT 'The Word'. (See John: 1:1; Isaiah 8.20)

Those who challenge the validity or veracity of the (original) so-called Hebrew Scriptures are, at the very least, not wise, especially if they conclude that "there is no GOD" (Elohim), or that His 'name' is 'God', 'Lord', 'Jehovah', 'Jah', 'Jesus', or 'Jesus Christ'.

It is not true, either, that 'Jesus' is an authentic translation of the so-called Hebrew name, Yahshua.

For the above-stated reasons, and more, whether you believe (in) the Bible or not, you have nothing to lose if you are able to "search the Scriptures", like the Bereans, to "see whether these things are so", rather than like some of the Pharisees, who "search [and virtually worship] the scriptures [or the 'Holy Bible'] because you believe that in them you have life" but continuously REJECT the ONE of whom the scriptures testify.
