'LOL' is my response to Mark Shields' guest column ('Reject Les Green's offensive remarks') in The Gleaner on Friday, February 8.

One of the best crime-fighting skills Mr Shields brought to the table was, of course, his verbal and written character assassination of now-retired Senior Superintendent of Police Reneto Adams; now he is on to Les Green. I guess he did not share your taste in a cup of tea.

Mr Shields, with due respect, I, for one, need no advice from you as it relates to the Jamaican culture and the Jamaica Constabulary Force. You were part of the problem, not the solution.
