Former Chief Justice Lensley Wolfe was admitted to hospital last Friday after he collapsed.
A close family friend told The Sunday Gleaner that Wolfe, who fell ill while attending a function, has been undergoing a battery of tests, but, so far, nothing has been found to be amiss.
"Everything seems fine at this stage," the friend said late yesterday. "The tests are ongoing although he is stable."
Wolfe served as chief justice from 1996 until 2007 and was appointed last year to head the Public Service Commission.
