A spanking-new Suzuki Celerio valued at $2.5 million is up for grabs at the prestigious Secrets Resorts and Spa in Montego Bay, St James, with more than 1,000 employees clamouring to take it ... for free!

Later this year, one member of staff, excluding executive managers, will walk away as the first owner of this vehicle, with only one condition to be met, he/she must emerge the best employee for 2013.

It will be not be a walk in the park for any of the more than 1,000 competitors, as all have already been doing their best to impress.

"The best employee of the year will go away with a brand-new car. I don't know if any of our competitors is doing this. The car is already on property for everyone to see it every day," remarked Emilio Huhn, general manager of the twin resorts - Secrets Wild Orchid and Secrets St James.

An upbeat Huhn said: "We think every employee deserves it, and we are looking forward to having a great party later this year when it will be time to be claimed by its owner."

And if it is destiny's will, Delrose Bahadur, the assistant entertainment manager, could walk away with this car. "I am calling it owner. I know I will be the winner. I'm doing everything right," she asserts.

"The car just sits there taunting everybody every day. I've peeped inside, I've touched it and I've smiled with it ... it's mine," she claims.

Determined to raise the bar even higher, Huhn has promised to give away an even more prestigious car in 2014. He agrees that giving away a brand-new car is one the highest levels of staff motivation.
