Ladylike lace and rough and tough leather are two of the season's sexiest trends. From lace blouses to leather miniskirts and shorts, the opposite textures work well on their own and even better when paired. For maximum impact, try lace in a bold, statement-making hue and update your favourite LBD to a leather version. Here are some looks that incorporate both trends in order to channel your 'Alter Ego'.

To add a little edge and balance to the softness of lace, try cranking up the tough-girl factor with leather. Leather and lace - a little girlie and a little edgy, that's what real women are made of. Just remember, like all trends, leather and lace NEED to be done in moderation for maximum style impact.
