THE EDITOR, Sir:

With the exclusion of Marlon Samuels from the current Jamaica cricket team and the lame explanation of the chairman of selectors, I am reminded of a story told to me many years ago by a friend of mine.

He travelled with his tobacco (jackass rope) from Lititz in southeast St Elizabeth to the Christiana market. He had no sale. His explanation was: "Nobody says anything to I, and I says nothing to nobody."
