THE EDITOR, Sir:
I was indeed very surprised to learn that there was absolutely no mention in The Gleaner dated Wednesday, March 6, 2013 of the 16-year anniversary remembrance of the death of Jamaica's former great prime minister, Michael Norman Manley.
He was one of the great figures of Third World politics and the most effective Commonwealth Caribbean statesman of the latter half of the 20th century. He should not be forgotten.
