By now, your wardrobe should be complete since the last time we met. So let's talk fashion vs function and when we need which.

You might ask what's a fashion bra? Well it's all in the name; you won't ever get the type of 24-hour wear we tend to put our bras and bodies through with a fashion bra. They are good for a night on the town, to add a little glitz, glam, and sparkle to your outfit, but in the long run, will leave you feeling exposed and droopy in no time. In other words, if it has sequins, diamante, leather and lace combined, chances are it's a fashion bra. It will not last years, it will not go the distance, but it sure looks pretty.

A function bra is your everyday go-to bra. The one that keeps us going long after we should have stopped. They lift us, support us, separate and carry us all day with no civilian casualties at the end of the night when we let the 'girls' go free.

The good news is bra-makers have found many ways to combine the two, so that you can feel flirty and sexy but well supported, whether it's in the office, the gym, or at home. There is a bra for every taste, every need.

If you need help with marrying your two needs, here's a helpful tip. If you love lace but still need the feel of a fully supported moulded bra, try a bra with the lace on the outside, but lined on the inside - that way you get both the look and fit.

Try a corset or long-line bra - these come a little further down on the torso and make some women feel secure, as well as provide a little tummy control, while still looking ultra sexy at all times.

Passion is a certified bra-fitter, providing proper-fitting bras for women of all sizes.
