Kingston's Mayor Angela Brown Burke is scheduled to appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court this morning.

A law enforcement official told The Gleaner yesterday that Brown Burke had been served with a summons to appear in court for breaches of the Parliament (Integrity of Members) Act.

Prosecutors have alleged that Brown Burke failed to make her declarations for 2012. The offence carries a fine of $10,000.

Several attempts to get a comment from the mayor were unsuccessful.
