MALVERN, St Elizabeth:

A BUS transporting Munro College and Hampton School students from school turned over on the Malvern main road in St Elizabeth yesterday afternoon in front of the Bethlehem Moravian College playing field.

A Bethlehem student, who arrived on the scene shortly after the incident occurred, said that when she got there, she saw the bus with its wheels in the air, and smoke coming from it. She said she saw students jump through the windows of the bus and scamper down to the Bethlehem playing field.

She also noted that several students were covered in what seemed to be gasolene.

The police responded to the incident and took the injured to get medical attention.
