Reggae Talks kicks off at UWI today

The Department of Literatures in English, University of the West Indies, Mona, will host a 'Reggae Talks' series every Thursday evening at 7 p.m. beginning today.

Part of the March is Literatures in English Month programme of outreach activities, the series will be held in the Neville Hall Lecture Theatre (N1) and will feature presentations and discussions on topical issues by a group of young and promising performers.

The schedule is as follows: Today: Jah9; March 28: Protoje; April 4: No-Maddz; and April 11: Cali P.

Reggae Talks is staged in support of the department's Reggae Poetry course and is open to members of the public.
