Retail furniture and appliance giant Courts Jamaica will be hosting the first-ever in-store appliance exposition in Jamaica. The exposition will be held this weekend at the Courts Washington Boulevard store located at the Boulevard Supercentre, Kingston.
The two-day exposition to be held on April 13 and 14, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., will feature some of the world's best brands in appliances and will have displays from Samsung, Mabe, Whirlpool, Kitchenaid, Brother, Accutek, Atmor, Indurama, Landranger and Marcy gym equipment.
"Courts is a leader in the furniture and appliance industry and is always finding innovative and creative ways to attract and engage consumers", said Janet Sylvester, Courts' director of marketing.
Sylvester also noted that the appliance expo is intended to further strengthen Courts brand positioning with its wide range of both large and small appliances.
"A large percentage of our business is driven by the sale of large appliances, namely refrigerators, stoves and washing machines," Sylvester continued.
Two full days of activities
Patrons can expect two full days of activities at the expo, including entertainment and cooking demonstrations by emcees Ity and Fancy Cat, product knowledge seminars, cylinder safety tips from IGL Limited, presentations by the Consumer Affairs Commission, cooking demonstrations with culinary artist Oji Jaja, wine tasting by Lascelles Wines and Spirits, magician performance, massage by Jewel Resorts, make-up application by L'Oreal, hairstyling by SoftSheen Carson and much more.
The Courts appliance expo is open to everyone and admission is free; "Patrons should come ready to shop using Courts' flexible and affordable credit plans," said Sylvester.
Partners of the Courts appliance expo are: Exotic Stones Creation, HiLo Food Stores, Lascelles Wines and Spirits, Jewel Resorts, SoftSheen Carson and L'Oreal.
Courts will host another appliance expo at its Bogue store in Montego Bay on April 27 and 28.
