THE EDITOR, Sir:
Why do we have to suffer so at the mercy of persons who feel that they have a right to bombard our auditory senses with their very booming noises (so-called music), and we must bear it or be threatened by them? It is not fair!
Please enforce the Noise Abatement Act for the rights and sanity of some of us who still detest, and are badly affected by, loud noises!
As I write, there is loud noise right now in Pagee, since noon Sunday, August 18 (and it is now 9:30 p.m.), and getting louder and louder all the time! Good grief! Have these people no conscience?!
I speak for Port Maria and surrounding areas, but I do feel that it is more widespread than this.
