LONDON (AP):Rain has wiped out day four of the fifth Test between England and Australia at the Oval.
No play at all was possible on Saturday, seriously hindering Australia's hopes of a consolation victory in a series in which it trails 3-0.
With a saturated outfield and no prospect of the conditions improving, play was officially abandoned for the day around 4 p.m. local time.
If and when play begins on Sunday, England will resume on 247-4 - trailing Australia by 245 runs. The not-out batsmen are Ian Bell on 29 and Chris Woakes on 15.
