Denyque launched her career in 2009 with soulful, catchy lyrics and an infectious smile. She has remained one of the forerunners of the genre, with a steady release of songs that persons of all age groups can relate to.
Armed with a repertoire of pop-inspired hits, Denyque is now ready to take the international market by storm.
Denyque's latest single, the sensuous, pop-flavoured Make Me Believe You, is already creating waves on the local scene. The video for the single was released over the weekend and has already garnered enthusiastic responses from music lovers.
"The video was directed by RD studios and it's only a few days old and it is really doing well. This song is a testament to my musical growth, and I'm very pleased with the direction my career is going. Right now, I'm focusing on building a bigger brand," Denyque told The Gleaner.
As of July, Denyque also launched her swimsuit line WetSwim, proving that she is indeed multitalented.
"WetSwim is a unique line with abstract prints and sexy styles. It's a fresh, exclusive swimwear line, and we're going to be expanding and releasing more designs in the future," she said.
Denyque is also gearing up for the release of a new EP, Her Name is Denyque.
"We are working on getting singles out to set the foundation for the EP. Stephen McGregor, Christopher Birch, and Ricky Blaze all lent their their talent to this project, so it's definitely going to be amazing, and I can't wait to share it with my fans," she said.
The EP will be released in the upcoming weeks.
