The Institute Of Academic Excellence (IAE) is one of Jamaica's fastest-growing private educational institutions, hosting some 2,000 students over five campuses islandwide. Principal Jermaine Martin started this institution on September 5, 1999 in Central Plaza, Half-Way Tree. Before long, the school outgrew that home and moved to 26 Hagley Park Road, where they spent two academic years before relocating to its present home at 70 Half-Way Tree Road.
Today IAE boasts five campuses - Half-Way Tree, Mandeville, May Pen, Ocho Rios and Montego Bay - offering CSEC, CAPE and career advancement courses.
IAE Kingston campus now operates a private high school which caters to grades 9-12 students. We offer flexible class schedule (day, after-school, evening and Saturday).
IAE has implemented and appointed a maths review team to execute some new strategies to tackle maths. This will be an extensive programme as we realise the need to address this challenge in our school curriculum. This is in collaboration with our school motto, 'Our Mission is Your Success'. As we welcome the new academic year, our institution is fully equipped with necessary resources to accomplish our goals and targets.
IAE also hosts a number of exciting extracurricular activities, such as Mr and Miss IAE Pageant, Sports Day, private school league football competition, and campus vibes every Friday after school.
