Chuck Fenda is expecting great success when his fourth studio album, Jah Elements, is released next week.
The 17-track album is to be released on September 10 and will be distributed by industry giants Zojack World Wide.
He believes it may be one of his best yet.
Chuck Fenda's first album was the successful Better Days for the Fifth Element label, his second, The Living Fire, was done by Shane Brown; and his third, Fulfilment, by Kemar 'Flava' McGregor. Now almost three years later, Jah Elements comes from Lloyd James, also known as John John, the son of the legendary King Jammy.
"It's a team effort and I think it's one of my best albums so far. In Jah Elements, we're calling up on the different elements of the earth because there's a great spiritual energy behind it," Chuck Fenda told The Gleaner.
The team consists of John John, Angel Doolas and himself.
"That team is a whole different type of energy, a different meditation. John John and Angel Doolas put a lot of work into it, and in the end it going to be great," he said.
The album will include songs such as Warning on Notice Productions' 'Heart & Soul' rhythm, Don't Worry on the 'Diamond & Gold' rhythm, For My Daughter, Spiritual Warfare featuring Junior Reid, and A Different Man featuring Bounty Killer and Leroy Smart.
Fenda has high praises for Warning, which went number one in Ghana, Nigeria and a few European countries.
He said fans can always expect the cultural one drop rhythms that he's been known for.
"Chuck Fenda nuh really stray from the point. The messages and music of upliftment, suffering and hardship are there. The good spiritual tracks, there's lots of empty souls to be filled. It's a long-awaited album from Chuck Fenda," he shared.
Despite being digitally distributed by Zojack World Wide, the album will still be available in stores.
"People buying into digital because now the world gone into digital distribution. The album will be distributed by Zojack World Wide, but we'll still print physical copies for the stores," he explained.
Jah Elements will be launched in Jamaica and Europe.
"We're looking to do an album launch in Jamaica soon. I also have a show in England called Reggae Salute on September 28 and 29 coming up so on the Monday after that we want to launch over there," said Chuck Fenda.
