Jamaica's senior men's football team will depart the island today for Panama, to tackle that country in a must-win World Cup Qualifying (WCQ) football encounter tomorrow.
The match, to be played at the Rommel Fernandez Stadium, Panama City, is slated to kick off at 9 p.m.
Both teams have met on 13 previous occasions, with the 76th-ranked Jamaicans registering a mere two wins to go with six draws and five defeats. The last meeting between Jamaica and the 40th-ranked Central Americans - which was played at the National Stadium - ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
Jamaica had taken the lead in that game through Marvin Elliott (23rd minute), but Panama struck back through Luis Henriquez (67th).
This will be the first of four games that the Reggae Boyz have remaining in the CONCACAF Hexagonal phase and they will need to win all four in order to give themselves a shot of at least
