Courts Jamaica launched Island Home Collection, its new line of furniture made exclusively for the Courts brand.
The line was launched on Monday at one of the furniture giant's flagship stores, the Constant Spring Road branch. Annette James-Williams, furniture buyer at Courts, described the line of mid-to-high-end furniture as having a personality that is "fresh, vibrant, chic".
The line has all categories of furniture to include pieces for living rooms and lounge areas.
Director of marketing for Courts Janet Sylvster said the modern pieces are essential to spruce up the home.
"At Courts, we believe furniture is fashion ... we believe your home should be a runway," she said.
Courts also unveiled a brand ambassador for the new line, Yendi Phillipps, one of Jamaica's favourite beauty queens.
"I'm honoured to be a part of this brand. I can't think back to a time when Courts was not a part of my life," said Phillipps, explaining that Courts is her go-to place for furniture. The new line, she believes, represents Jamaica.
"Island Home is what is brand Jamaica," said Phillipps, adding that it is a family friendly brand which she will certainly share with her daughter.
"I find that your family can grow with this brand," she said.
