THE EDITOR, Sir:
What has happened to Mr Audley Shaw in recent times - emotionally and physically? Mr Shaw needs to refresh himself of the late Maurice Bishop and those who, for their own selfish and manipulative interests, encouraged him to have a coup in Grenada. They were the very same ones who in 1983 revolted against him, killed him, and took the control they wanted.
I would like to humbly and respectfully ask Mr Shaw to look around him very carefully at those who are pushing his buttons. Mr Shaw, as a senior deputy of the Jamaica Labour Party responsible for Area Council Three with 14 constituencies, delivered only five for the party. Has he met with the others who lost as a group and reviewed the reasons for the losses, with a view of bringing it to the attention of the leader of the party for better management and coordination for the future?
Mr Shaw, please be careful of some persons from the east who think they are wise men. They could be the inventors of your political demise. Be ye warned! It is not everything that glitters is gold.
