Did you think that things would be this tough in 2013 when you were voting two years ago?
Cassius Geddes - St Ann
It's terrible but I expected it. Andrew Holness did say it would happen, so this is it now.
Sasha Marshall - Nurse, St Thomas
I had high hopes for some changes for better. I had some naive misconception that maybe this time it might work. Even the basic necessities are next to impossible to get. Try paying bills on minimum wage. I was expecting it to be hard, but not this hard.
Carlton Boucher - Barber, Portland
Things were much better two years ago, and I didn't imagine things could be this tough two years after. Yes, there are challenges, and Government is hard-pressed for cash, but there are no jobs available and frequent price increase is affecting everyone. It is only the mercy of God that is seeing me through each month.
Dennis Marsh - Unemployed, Portland
The two parties are the same. It was rough in 2011, but it wicked right now. I am a painter by profession, but I have not worked in three years. The youths are the future, and I pity them, as there is no real future in Jamaica for them.
Norman Smith - St Ann
Jamaica is a Third World country, and bigger countries, for instance, America, we depend on them a lot. So if things are bad in America, of course it's going to affect us in Jamaica. I was expecting it.
