We continue our feature which looks at structures across the island in earlier years, comparing them with what they look like today. Chief Photographer Norman Grindley searched the archives of The Gleaner and visited these places.
1974: The Cremo Ltd milk plant on Spanish Town Road, which came under the scrutiny of the Public Health Department as a result of complaints of poor-quality milk.The department reported that there was an adverse finding on milk put out by the firm, in which the bacterial count was found to be high. Further tests carried out, however, produced a favourable finding. - File
