THE EDITOR, Sir:
I am moved by the calls for reinstatement of Mr Richard Azan. By disagreeing with those who believe that he should be reinstated, I am not implying criminality on the part of Mr Azan.
The undisputed fact is that the actions of Mr Azan constituted an egregious breach of Government of Jamaica rules, a breach for which he has declared no regrets.
Mr Azan must, therefore, embrace the consequence of his actions. Rules are not meant to be observed out of convenience.
