November is Food Month!

Have you heard? November is Food Month! Yes, food lovers - for you, it will be the most wonderful time of the year! If you're not yet a convert, you will be by November 30.

The Gleaner has dubbed November Food Month where we will live to eat and not eat to live. The month will be dedicated to celebrating Jamaica's vibrant food industry and its status as a world-class culinary destination.

The exciting line of events and activities was announced at the Food Month launch at The Gleaner's North Street offices last Thursday. Get ready for Restaurant Week, The Epicurean Escape, Rib, Roast and Rum, Kingston Kitchen and, of course, the grand finals of the CB Pan Chicken Championship.
