THE EDITOR, Sir:
I have been rocked by the shocking news that Cuba has got off the mark before Jamaica to the creation of a logistics hub and that the so-called communist country is offering tax incentives to investors who make financial commitments to the project.
Meanwhile, Jamaican authorities are making announcements that the Chinese are considering investments on their terms but revealing no details as to how and what Jamaicans can expect to result from their proposal.
This is a strange way to do business.
Rome is burning while the authorities are fiddling.
Speak up, Jamaicans! The ship is sailing past as we squabble and fight regarding undisclosed details.
