The highly anticipated Heineken Inspire campaign is quickly drawing to a close. The campaign that has unearthed some of the best talent in art, fashion, film and music will culminate in a grand finale dubbed 'The Odyssey' today at Fort Rocky Palisadoes.
Last year, the old railway station in downtown Kingston came alive with jumping selections and performances by the top names in music. It was excitement from start to finish as Heineken pulled out all the stops to make the event a great one.
From a subzero room that boasted all sub-zero Heineken and kept patrons cool to a 100-foot bar and a train ride aboard the Heineken Express, the grand finale was extraordinary.
"We aim to please," said Nasha Douglas, Heineken brand manager.
"This is a global campaign that helps to hone talents across the world. In Jamaica, this is our way of celebrating the success of a campaign that has touched so many lives," she added.
After weeks of touring, auditions and exhausting judging, the winners in the Heineken Inspire competition have been chosen. The Odyssey will be the 'last hurrah' of the campaign.
"Plans are well under way. Our venue is shaping up and, no doubt, patrons will be impressed. The winners in the Heineken Inspire competition will be announced at the event, and their final pieces will also be on display," Douglas disclosed.
"We can't say much more because a lot of it is a surprise. We have an entertainment package that is quite original and impressive. You really have to come out to see for yourself," she ended.
