Camperdown High completed easy wins over St Jago High's junior and senior teams in Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association Corporate Area netball competition last Friday at Camperdown.
The host school's junior team won 31-15 before the senior brushed aside St Jago 45-29.
In the junior encounter where both schools have been dominant in Group E, Camperdown, led by good all-round plays from centre Shemika Cephas along with goal defence Shannakay Shand and goal shooter Idara McCarthy, made their intention clear from very early as they raced to a 8-2 first quarter lead.
The early lead seemed to have unsettled St Jago as they showed little resistance to Camperdown who led 15-7 at half-time and 22-11 at the end of the third quarter before pulling away to register their fourth win in a row.
The senior match was very competitive for the first quarter as St Jago had a narrow 10-9 lead at the first break. However, Camperdown, with excellent shooting from goal attack Kestina Sturridge, took control early in the second quarter as they piled on the pressure on their opponents to dominate the remainder of the game.
Defending junior champion, The Queen's School showed that they will be hard to beat once again this year as they demolished Josť Marti 70-2 in a Group B encounter.
