She was crowned Miss Jamaica World in 2006 and Miss World Caribbean Continental Queen of Beauty at the Miss World Pageant. Sara Lawrence is worth it, and L'Oréal Paris knows it, making her the first Caribbean Ambassador for the luxurious brand.
Lawrence has been selected to be the face of L'Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Total Repair 5. She has joined the group of elite celebrities like Julianne Moore, Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez.
Total Repair 5 is the newest line from L'Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare with the tag line '5 problems (weak, limp, lifeless, dull and strawlike hair - many women's woes) 1 solution'. There is little wonder Lawrence was chosen. Her beauty and ambitious drive that pushed her to become a doctor and her full-time job as a mother, shows the strength of her character. However, she is still humble and referred to herself at the launch on October 9, as an "ordinary Jamaican girl".
Lawrence told the gathering that when she received the news, she was at work, and was overjoyed.
"It was surreal. I wasn't sure if it was real at first. Not until the official meeting and everything was arranged," she revealed.
When it actually hit home, "I felt honoured. It was great for them to even think of someone from the region and for that person to be me. I really appreciate this one."
Her favourite product is Total Repair 5, not because she is the ambassador, but because the product works best for her. She has been using it exclusively for five months and it helped to maintain her hair, which has gone through processing, colouring and just about everything that can cause damage.
